When You Reach Me
When You Reach Me; by Rebecca Stone: This book was pretty good. Maybe a little sad, although some parts were surprising. All the time travel made it confusing for me. But, the story itself was good. However, I wouldn't say it's my favorite book. Summary of the Story: The main girl starts to recieve strange notes at her door. The person does not say who they are, and they tell her to reply, writing all of the events that happened lately. The notes do not say who to give her letter to, though. The girl doesn't intend to respond to the notes, she already has other problems in her life, especially with friends. In the end she learns a lot and many surprising and sad things have happened to her.
The Lost Hero
The Lost Hero; by Rick Riordan: I thought it was totally AWESOME!!!!!! It's the sequel series to the Percy Jackson series. (So if you haven't already read Percy Jackson; then you might want to start with it.) It was very action packed, and intense. It was one of those books where you don't want to put it down. There were lots of new characters and more ideas and plots introduced. If you've read the first Percy Jackson and liked it; this book will take you on a much bigger adventure. I loved it!!!!
Summary of the Story: Jason suddenly wakes up on a school bus filled with kids he doesn't know. He doesn't know how he got there or anything at all, not even his own name. Turns out all the kids claim to know him and can tell him who he is, but the Coach has his suspicions. Jason and his 'friends', Leo and Piper turn out to all be demigods, and go on a mission that could either save the world or..... lead it to it's doom.
